About the AgentlabThe Intelligent Agent Laboratory (Agentlab) is an active research group conducted jointly between the Melbourne School of Engineering (Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering) and the Faculty of Science (Department of Information systems). HistoryFounded in 1994, the Agentlab has a long history of research into intelligent agents and multi-agent systems. Over this period the Agentlab has generated a large body of agent-related publications. The Agentlab collaborates with international research groups and industry partners, including agent companies that now operate in the vicinity of the University. A number of competitive Australian Research Council grants, cooperative and special research centre programs and joint industry grants presently fund a range of research projects in the Agentlab.
